Bauxite sits on avg about 2m high just under the surface.
Trucks dump ore in top, gets filtered, then goes across conveyor to be loaded on train.
Train takes ore to shipping terminal. Each of the 28 carriages carries 100 tonne

Great photos Mark. Looks like the trip is going well. Are you taking the boat out at Weipa? I thought the fishing is supposed to be fantastic there.

Oh warwick is in Tully for this wk I'm told working with the salvo's there. maybe ur close enough to see him!!
