The Lakeland caravan park has been booked for the first night's stay on the 28th July and the Weiss' van will stay here for the next three weeks, as we journey further north. Hope they enjoy tenting and 'roughing it'.
Just only 3 weeks to go and things are getting exciting. New engine for the tinnie has been purchased, lots of fishing odds & sods have been purchased, new tyres have been purchased, better wheels for trailer are on, lots of books, videos and maps have been purchased, some more photography gear has been purchased (you can never have enough), a good First Aid kit has been purchased - doesn't seem to include crocodile anti-venin, extra storage tubs have been purchased....too bad we can no longer afford the fuel to leave! Am sure we can sort something out...isn't that what credit cards are for?

We are still no closer to a defined itinerary, but then again, we don't have to be - we will be on holidays!
Quite a few people are asking about our trip and that is nice to see. I am getting lots of advice and comments - if only I could remember it. Oh, well....am sure I will remember as we go....or afterwards!
