Preparations

I can now say it is NEXT month that we head off, and as yet we have no idea where we will be at any point in time, nor who we will be with at any point in time. All we (Wendy, Margaret and I) know is we will be heading north out of Sydney on July 23rd with Klaus and Beryl, and their mobile Taj Mahal, having left a week before us to spend a week at South West Rocks. Obviously they want to have a good time before being stuck with us for 7 weeks. We will have the camper trailer in tow, with the tinnie on top.
At this point in time, we plan to head north to the Cape pretty quickly, arriving at the tip, on July 31. How long we stay there and how long it takes to get back home is a big mystery.
However, before we leave, we will need to do a bit of planning and organising. With time constaints due to work, and weekend availability limited, I expect that lots of reading, and lots of late nights will be had by all.
From discussions so far, we will be heading to Moree for the 1st night, and then onto Carnarvon Gorge for next 2 nights. Then it will be onto Undara Volcanic Park for a further 2 nights. We then head to the drop off spot for K&B's caravan, then head onto the dirt for the sprint to the tip. After that, who knows????
