Ok, into the final stretch now - only 2 sleeps to go.
Our itinerary is set in slow-drying, wet concrete. The initial stops are Moree, Carnarvon Gorge (x2), Nairana NP, somewhere near Undara Volcanic caves, Lakeland, Coen, Bramwell Junction, Siesia (the tip-ish). So, from Sydney, it is 8 nights, 9 days, to the top. The stops after that are completely unknown, but we do know it will be slow, and done with great style!
Most of the packing (well, the identification of the packing list) and organisation is done. Couple of small-ish things to install, or re-design, but should all be good.

I don't know about wireless broadband reception, but I am hoping it will be good - in fact, I am pretty well reliant on it.
How exciting, 11 sleeps to go! Hope all your planning pays off and you enjoy a stress-free start to your great journey.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about only 9 sleeps to go- Marg says she has all her work done and is having cat naps here at the office - she's going to get about another 20 sleeps in before u leave.

Struth!!! Love it. I think the bathroom adventure is still under way. Last time I looked, there wasn't a toilet seat to sit on and read a book.
ReplyDeleteKnB....don't be rude. You know that isn't true....and this isn't the Ruth you are thinking of K.
ReplyDeleteRuth, I think this adventure will have a few more stories, and a I know it will have a lot more photos. I hope we can keep you interested...
Have a great time. I hope the rain stops for you!
